ABUS TOUCH™
FINGER ON IT, LOCK OPENS!

JUST TOUCH: WITHOUT A KEY AND WITHOUT A NUMERIC CODE
With the weatherproof ABUS Touch™ 57 padlock, which can be unlocked with a fingerprint, you can save yourself such stressful situations. Because it offers the keyless, safe and convenient solution for opening: Just touch – finger on it, the lock opens!
EASY TO USE
The padlock can be opened with just one hand. It requires neither a key nor a combination of numbers. The 360°-capable sensor identifies up to 20 taught-in fingers from any position - no matter how they are placed. Enrolling fingerprints is super fast. As one of two administrators, you simply place your own, already learned finger on the fingerprint sensor for three seconds and the "learning mode" function is activated. It takes ten seconds to get to the Erase Mode setting. Accidental deletion of the imprints is therefore almost impossible.
WATERPROOF: SUITABLE FOR OUTDOORS
No rusting, no ingress of dirt and water: its classification in protection classes IP 66 and IP 68 means that the ABUS Touch™ 57 can be used outdoors just as easily as indoors. On the one hand, it is protected against the ingress of dust and foreign bodies and, on the other hand, it is protected against heavy splashing water, such as from a garden hose or heavy rain. Another plus: the lock can also fall into water without moisture penetrating.
PROVEN ABUS SECURITY
You can rely on our security standards, our experience and our proven quality: ABUS has been the padlock expert for almost a century. The ABUS Touch™ 57 is made of high-quality material. With its specially hardened steel shackle, zinc body and double ball locking system, it is therefore one of the most secure fingerprint padlocks currently on the market. Another protection aspect: Thanks to the fingerprint scanner and its encrypted memory, unauthorized persons are prevented from spying on a numerical code or stealing a key.
VERSATILE POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS
Whether for the cellar door with a large number of neighbors, use on the construction site, access to the locker in the office or the shed with the bicycles: the keyless ABUS Touch™ 57 is suitable for countless possible applications. With it there is never again the risk of losing one of the keys or forgetting the numerical code and having to change the padlock. The 360° fingerprint sensor is particularly ideal for children who don't want to be given a key for the communal cellar or the locker in the sports club. The fingerprint lock is also suitable for use in the gym, where a key would only get in the way during training.
WELL THOUGHT-OUT POWER
SUPPLY The lock is powered by a commercially available CR2 battery. Thanks to an efficient energy concept, up to 10,000 unlockings are possible with one battery. Massive external influences, such as heavy rain or extreme cold, can shorten battery life. When the voltage is low, the lock will emit an SOS alert. This does not affect security. Changing the battery is very easy and is done with a screw on the underside. The stored fingerprints are retained. Good to know: When changing the battery, the product cannot be unlocked.

LEARN MORE FINGERPRINTS
- An admin presses and hold the sensor for three seconds . His finger must first be successfully recognized again: This is indicated by a beep. The lock opens.
- Press and hold the sensor again until the beep sounds. The LEDs light up blue . Hang up the admin’s finger to confirm.
- Now place the new finger to be taught in in different, flat positions and read in until a long signal tone sounds. The LEDs flash green.
First of all: all types of fingerprints can be taught in – from any finger, whether young or old. In the case of very large fingers, the impression should be read in as extensively as possible in order to save all areas.
IMPORTANT:
When teaching in, both the finger and the sensor must be clean, because only a finger that has been taught in correctly is like a good key.
TIP: It makes sense to save two different people as administrators and to enroll several fingers for each person . This means that the lock can still be opened safely if a finger is injured.
The padlock is assigned to protection classes IP 66 and IP 68 and is therefore protected against dust and water . It is therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
